The final of the ODI World Cup is to be played between India and Australia on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The country's PM Narendra Modi can be the chief guest to watch the final match and Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has also been invited.
Indian captain MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev can also reach Ahmedabad to watch the match. Under the captaincy of Kapil Dev, India won the first ODI World Cup in 1983. After that, in 2011, under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, India won the World Cup title for the second time.
Apart from this, family members of Indian players, BCCI officials, senior ICC officials and members of various state associations will also be present at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the final match.
Team India reached Ahmedabad late Thursday evening for the final match. The team will take part in the first practice session on Friday. The Indian team last won the World Cup title in 2011. Apart from this, the ICC Trophy was last won in 2013.
