This will be the sixth edition of the Women's Asia Cup, played in the T20 format, featuring eight teams divided into two groups. India and Pakistan are in the same group—Group A—along with Thailand, Hong Kong, and China. Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE, and Indonesia.

India begins its tournament campaign

The Indian team will kick off its campaign by playing its first match against Thailand on August 30. It will be interesting to see how Team India performs this time.

All matches of the tournament will be played under lights at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, starting at 6:30 PM local time. A total of 15 matches will be played, and all of them will take place at this same stadium.

In the group stage, every team will play against all other teams once, and the top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals scheduled for September 10 and 11. The two winning semi-finalists will face each other in the final match on September 13. It will be interesting to see which team emerges victorious this time.

It is worth noting that Sri Lanka enters the tournament as the defending champion, having won the title by defeating India in the 2024 edition. Defending champion Sri Lanka will kick off its campaign against Bangladesh on August 29. India is the most successful team in this tournament.
