He first smashed Ayub for a six and then followed it up with two consecutive fours. Abhishek collected 15 runs from the over, immediately changing the momentum after Vaibhav's dismissal.

Abhishek continued his aggressive batting and reached his half-century in just 20 deliveries.
The Indian batter eventually scored 61 runs from 28 balls, with his innings featuring seven sixes and three fours. His explosive knock helped India maintain a strong scoring rate in the final.
Sam Ayub Drops Two Big Catches in Powerplay
Sam Ayub had mixed fortunes during the powerplay. Although he picked up the important wicket of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, he also missed two opportunities in the field.
Ayub dropped catches involving Abhishek Sharma and Shreyas Iyer. Abhishek was on 39 when one of the chances went down and he went on to score a quick 61.
