Sai Kishore Returns to County Cricket: To play for Gloucestershire; check the full schedule
India's brilliant left-arm spinner Sai Kishore is set to showcase his talent on English soil once again. The 29-year-old spinner has signed a new deal with Gloucestershire for the final six matches of the 2026 County Championship season.
Sai Kishore will be available for selection starting with the match against Worcestershire in Cheltenham on August 20.
Sai Kishore's Full County Schedule (2026)
While playing for Gloucestershire, Sai Kishore will take the field against the following teams during the final phase of the season:
- vs Worcestershire (Starting August 20 – at Cheltenham)
- vs Derbyshire (at Bristol)
- vs Middlesex (at Bristol)
- vs Durham (Away match)
- vs Lancashire (Away match)
- vs Kent (Away match)

Expressing his delight after joining Gloucestershire, Sai Kishore said:

Sai Kishore to be a trump card in spin-friendly conditions: Head Coach
Gloucestershire Head Coach John Lewis believes that Sai Kishore's experience will significantly bolster the team during the final weeks of the season. Lewis said:
"Sai Kishore is a proven and experienced cricketer who will add great value to our group. During this final phase of the season (August-September), English conditions are often very helpful for spin bowlers. We hope Sai will play a crucial role for the team as an overseas spinner."
Sai Kishore's impressive First-Class record
Sai Kishore, who plays domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu, boasts a formidable First-Class record:
- Total matches: 54
- Total wickets: 223
- 5-wicket hauls: 14 times
- 4-wicket hauls: 11 times
Previously played for Surrey: This is not Sai Kishore's first county experience. He has previously played for Surrey, where he claimed his maiden county cricket five-wicket haul in a match against Durham.
