Mohammed Shami Takes Hat-Trick in Bengal T20 League 2026: After wreaking havoc with the ball in IPL 2026, Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami is now showcasing his brilliance in the Bengal T20 League 2026. In a thrilling encounter at Kolkata's historic Eden Gardens Stadium, Servotech Siliguri Strikers defeated Shrachi Rarh Bengal by 24 runs. The standout performer in Siliguri's magnificent victory was Mohammed Shami, who shattered the opposition's resistance by claiming a spectacular hat-trick.

Vishal Bhati's 86 Runs Power Siliguri to 208/4

Sent in to bat after losing the toss, Servotech Siliguri Strikers got off to a solid start. Opener Karan Lal laid a strong foundation for the team with a brisk knock of 39 runs off 28 balls. Vishal Bhati, coming in at number three, then played shots all around the ground. He smashed an explosive 86 runs off just 46 balls at a strike rate of 186.96. Towards the end, number five batsman Pramod Chandila also scored rapidly, remaining unbeaten on 36 off 16 balls; thanks to these contributions, Siliguri posted a massive total of 208 for 4 in their 20 overs.

Mohammed Shami Bags Stunning Hat-Trick in 16th Over

Chasing a daunting target of 209 runs, the Shrachi Rarh Bengal team appeared to be under pressure right from the start. Although Shuvam Dey (48 runs) and Rahul Prasad (44 runs), who came in at number seven, put up a fight, they were unable to steer the team to victory.

The Rarh Bengal team could only manage to score 184 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. The match's major turning point was the 16th over of the innings, when Mohammed Shami came on to bowl. Shami completed a hat-trick by taking three consecutive wickets off the final three balls of the over:
  • Fourth ball: Shahbaz Ahmed was caught by Karan Lal.
  • Fifth ball: Rohit Kumar-III was caught by V Bhati and sent back to the pavilion.
  • Sixth ball: Dipanjan Mukherjee was dismissed LBW, completing the hat-trick.
