According to reports, India's star fast bowler and the backbone of the pace attack, Jasprit Bumrah, has been ruled out of the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Considering his workload and history of past injuries, the medical team has strongly advised against rushing his return to competitive cricket.
BCCI Source Statement:
"There have been instances in the past where players were rushed back onto the field and suffered recurring injuries. We cannot afford to take such a risk with an invaluable player like Bumrah. Our primary goal is to ensure his complete recovery. We have a packed schedule this year, with major events like the Asian Games, the tour of New Zealand, and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on the horizon."
