Indian young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal created history on the basis of his strong batting in the Irani Cup. Playing for Rest of India, Yashasvi scored a double century in the first innings against Madhya Pradesh and also scored 144 in the second innings. He also became the highest run scorer in a single Irani Cup match. He broke the record set by Shikhar Dhawan in 2011.

Yashasvi broke Dhawan's record

Rest of India beat Madhya Pradesh

Let us inform that Rest of India defeated Madhya Pradesh by 238 runs in Irani Cup match. In the match played at Gwalior, Rest of India batting first scored 484 runs in the first innings. In reply, Madhya Pradesh's first innings was reduced to 294 runs.

Rest of India got a lead of 190 runs in the first innings. Rest of India was all out for 246 runs in the second innings and Madhya Pradesh got a target of 437 runs to win. Chasing the target, Madhya Pradesh's second innings got reduced to 198 runs.
