With the Duckworth/Lewis system, India defeated Bangladesh by a decisive 19 runs thanks to an all-around effort by Radha Yadav and Dayalan Hemalatha in a rain-affected second women's T20 International in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Bangladesh had a formidable task against the Indian bowlers after opting to bat first. With the outstanding bowling of Radha Yadav, the hosts were bowled out for just 119 runs.

India began their pursuit in reply, but Shafali Verma left for a duck, costing them an early wicket. But before rain intervened for the second time, Dayalan Hemalatha's strong effort of 41 runs off 24 balls helped India reach 47/1 in 5.2 overs.

India was awarded the victors, gaining a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, with the Duckworth/Lewis system placing them comfortably ahead by 19 runs and the surface being ruled unusable owing to heavy rain.

Bangladesh's innings faced some early opposition earlier in the game, despite Dilara Akter's and Murshida Khatun's bat contributions. Nevertheless, Indian bowlers continued to apply pressure, as Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav claimed significant wickets.

One of the highlights of India's bowling effort was Radha Yadav's double strike, which included the dismissal of Fahima Khatun and Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana in successive deliveries.
