The scan revealed swelling in his obliques muscles and due to this he will not be seen bowling as a precaution.

Harris Rauf's performance has been excellent

Harris Rauf's performance in Asia Cup 2023 has been excellent. Pakistan's fast bowler has taken a total of 9 wickets in his name so far in the tournament. Even in the first match played against India, Harris Rauf took the important wickets of Shubhman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer.

The Indian captain hit 6 fours and four skyscraper sixes during his fast-paced innings. Rohit along with Shubman Gill made an excellent partnership of 121 runs for the first wicket.

Along with Rohit Sharma, his partner Shubman Gill's bat also spoke very well. Gill also showed aggressive attitude from the other end. Gill targeted Pakistan's fast bowlers from the very first ball and was seen dealing in fours only. The Indian opener completed his half-century in 37 balls. Gill became the victim of Shaheen Afridi after facing 52 balls after scoring 58 runs. The right-handed batsman hit 10 fours during his innings.
