Speaking to the sports platform 'Not OUT Noman', BCB President Tamim Iqbal discussed the current status of the series in detail:
- Commitment to the Series: Tamim Iqbal clarified that both the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board are very serious and positive about hosting this bilateral series.
- Challenge of a Busy Schedule: He noted that both teams have extremely busy international calendars. Bangladesh has three series scheduled for the near future, and the Indian team's schedule is also extremely tight.
- Board Limitations: The BCB President stated, "Our mindset is entirely positive, but sometimes matters are not directly within our control. As President, I too have certain limitations; however, both boards remain in constant contact to finalize match dates as soon as a free window becomes available."
