John Campbell hammered his second ODI century by taking the Indian fast bowlers to the cleaners. Displaying a remarkable blend of technique and power, he ruthlessly attacked Prasidh Krishna, Aaqib Nabi, and Gurnoor Brar.

Why was John Campbell banned?
This Jamaican batsman is considered highly talented, but his career hit a major roadblock in 2022. In April of that year, he refused to provide a blood sample to doping control officers.
Subsequently, the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission imposed a four-year ban on him. Later, following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the ban was reduced to 22 months, and it expired in August 2024.
Notably, after the ban, John Campbell failed to show up for the toss during the Super50 final; he was initially handed a four-match suspension for this, but the penalty was later revoked.
Making a comeback through stellar domestic cricket performances
John Campbell earned his recall to the West Indies squad thanks to outstanding performances in domestic cricket. The left-hander had previously scored a century against India in a Test match and has now smashed another century in the second match of the ODI series.
Notably, this marks Campbell's first ODI century in seven years; his last one was scored against Ireland in 2019.
