BCCI Confirms Suryakumar Yadav Comeback Plan: Although T20 World Cup-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav may currently be out of Team India's immediate plans, there is welcome news for his fans. The BCCI has clarified that the doors to the Indian team have not been completely shut for Surya. However, regaining a spot in the squad will not be an easy task for him.
Surya was already out of the ODI and Test formats, and he was recently left out of the squad announced for the upcoming T20 series against Zimbabwe. Amidst this, however, a significant statement regarding his potential comeback has emerged from the board.

News agency ANI has reported, citing a senior BCCI source, that Suryakumar Yadav remains in contention for selection. The source stated, "Even though Surya is not currently part of Team India's short-term plans, the path to a comeback remains open. If he plays consistently in domestic cricket and keeps scoring runs, a return to the team is certainly possible."
It is evident that the selectors want to thoroughly assess his match fitness and form on the domestic circuit before considering him for the team again.
