Ashes 2025-26 Fixtures: The first match of the Ashes series will be played between Australia and England in Perth. The first Test will be from November 21 to November 25 while the second Test will be day-night which will run from December 4 to December 8 at the Gabba. The third Test will be from December 17 to December 21 and the fourth Test will start from December 26.

Australia has announced the schedule of the five-Test Ashes series on Wednesday, October 16. This time the Ashes series will be played between Australia and England in Perth, the first Test of which will be played from November 21 to November 25, 2025. The second day-night Test will be played at the Gabba from December 4 to December 8. The third Test will be played at the Adelaide Oval from December 17 to December 21 and the Boxing Day Test will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground from December 26. The last and fifth Test will be played from January 4 to January 8.

The first match of the Ashes series 2025 will be played in Perth. This is the first time since 1982-83 that the first match of this series is being played in Perth instead of Brisbane. This time the England team is on a tour of Australia.

The Australian team has won the last eight Ashes Tests in Perth and thus the Kangaroo team has the upper hand for the first Test to be played against England. The Ashes series was drawn 2-2 last season. After this the Australian team toured England. The Adelaide Oval Stadium hosted the Ashes Test in 2013, in which fast bowler Mitchell Johnson took 7 wickets in the first innings to lead the team to a 218-run victory.

The world's oldest series 'The Ashes' started in 1882. However, Australia-England have been playing Test series since 1877. The world's first Test match was played between these two countries and later it was named the Ashes series. Australia has won 13 out of 15 Ashes Tests and two have been drawn. These Tests were played on home grounds, as England won the Test in Sydney in 2011. Australia won the last home series 4-0 in 2021-22 and the series was drawn last year.
