Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium History
The Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium is an all-seater, multi-purpose stadium located at 65 Vardanants Street in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Built between 1933 and 1935, it was officially opened in 1935 as 'Dynamo Stadium'. Further improvements were made in 1953, following World War II. It is primarily used for football matches and serves as the home ground for the Armenian national football team. The stadium has a seating capacity of 14,403.
