Stade Louis II is a stadium located in the Fontvieille district of Monaco, near the Cap-d'Ail border with France. It is primarily used for athletics and football and serves as the home ground for AS Monaco. The stadium is known for the nine distinctive arches situated at the 'away end' of the pitch. It also hosts the 'Herculis' Diamond League track and field event. UEFA Super Cup matches were played at the stadium in 1986 and between 1998 and 2012. Due to Monaco's small size, it is the country's only football and athletics stadium.
