SoFi Stadium is an indoor multi-purpose stadium located in Inglewood, California, U.S., a suburb of Los Angeles. SoFi is built on the former site of the Hollywood Park Racetrack and is situated adjacent to the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome. Opened in September 2020, the stadium has a seating capacity of 70,240 spectators, which can be expanded to over 100,000 for major events. Its roof is constructed from transparent ETFE panels, allowing natural sunlight to enter while enabling climate control. It serves as the home field for the National Football League (NFL) teams, the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. The stadium has hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2023, WrestleMania 39, the final of the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the LA Bowl from 2021 to 2025. It is scheduled to host eight matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl LXI in 2027, and the opening ceremony as well as the swimming competitions for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
