Red Bull Arena History
The Red Bull Arena, formerly known as the Zentralstadion, is a football stadium located in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. It is the largest football stadium in East Germany and has hosted football matches as well as music concerts. Opened in 2004, the stadium is currently the home ground of Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, while FC Sachsen Leipzig used the stadium from its opening until 2009. Due to UEFA sponsorship regulations, the stadium is known as the RB Arena for European matches.
