Memorial Stadium, often also known by its former name, 'Memorial Ground', is a sports ground located in Horfield, Bristol, England. It is situated north of the M4 motorway and west of the M5 motorway. Since the 1996–97 season, it has served as the home ground for Bristol Rovers Football Club. Opened in 1921, the ground was dedicated to the memory of local rugby union players who lost their lives during the First World War. Until the club's move to Ashton Gate in 2014, it also served as the home ground for Bristol Rugby Club.
