GSP Stadium History
The GSP Stadium is a football stadium located in Strovolos, in the Nicosia district of Cyprus. Although small by international standards, it is the largest stadium in Cyprus, with a seating capacity of 22,859, and opened in 1999. It serves as the home stadium for three major Nicosia football clubs Omonia, Olympiakos, and APOEL as well as the Cyprus national football team. A stadium of the same name the old GSP Stadium was located in the center of Nicosia from 1902 to 1999 and had a seating capacity of 12,000.
