Arrowhead Stadium is an American football stadium located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. It primarily serves as the home field for the National Football League (NFL) team, the Kansas City Chiefs. It was constructed alongside its neighboring stadium, Kauffman Stadium; Kauffman Stadium is the home field for the Major League Baseball team, the Kansas City Royals, and together, the two constitute the "Truman Sports Complex." Arrowhead Stadium has been in use since the 1972 NFL season and is currently the oldest stadium in the AFC. It has a seating capacity of 76,416, making it the 25th-largest stadium in the United States and the fourth-largest in the NFL. In terms of capacity, it is also the largest sports facility in the state of Missouri. In 2010, a renovation project for the stadium was completed at a cost of $375 million.
