Located in the city of Lillestrøm, east of Oslo, is the 'Åråsen Stadion' (Åråsen Stadium), an all-seater football stadium. With a capacity of 10,540 spectators, it serves as the home ground for the '1. divisjon' team Lillestrøm SK (LSK). The stadium features four stands; the West Stand includes luxury boxes and club seating for 700 people. Due to its proximity to Kjeller Airport, the stadium is equipped with retractable floodlights. A record attendance of 13,652 was set here in 2002. In addition to LSK's league, cup, and UEFA Cup matches, the stadium has hosted a top-level match for Strømmen IF in 1986, the UEFA Women's Euro 1997, eight matches involving the Norway women's national football team, the 2002 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship, and seven matches featuring the Norway national under-21 football team.
