Former captain and chief selector of Pakistan team Inzamam ul Haq has resigned from his post on Monday. He was appointed to this post in the month of August but before 3 months he has resigned to PCB. Inzamam has also given a big statement regarding returning to this post after resigning.
Everything is not going well in Pakistan team. There are reports that talks are not taking place between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Babar Azam. Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif had alleged that Zaka Ashraf was not even picking up Babar's calls nor had the Pakistani players received their salaries for five months. Former veteran cricketer Inzamam Ul Haq, who was elected Pakistan's chief selector before the Asia Cup, resigned from his post on Monday. Now just a day after that another big incident has happened.
In fact, his nephew Imam Ul Haq has been dropped from the playing-11 for the World Cup match against Bangladesh on Tuesday. Imam was out of form. However, despite this he is continuously being given opportunities. Pakistani fans and media have been accusing him of being included in the playing-11 because of Inzamam. Now after Inzamam's resignation, there is a lot of talk about Imam's ouster.

Inzamam's monthly salary was 25 lakh Pakistani rupees. Pakistan cricket team chief selector Inzamam ul Haq was accused of discrimination in team selection, to investigate which a five-member committee has been formed by the PCB. Meanwhile, Inzamam has resigned from the post of Chief Selector.
He said that he resigned because he was saddened by the allegations of conflict of interest and until the PCB conducts a thorough investigation and finds him guilty, he is resigning. He said I should step down and let them investigate.

He also said that if he is proved innocent in this case then he is ready to take over the post of Chief Selector of PCB again.
