WPL 2025 stats: Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by eight runs in the final to win the Women's Premier League (WPL) title for the second time. In the final played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, the MI team recovered from a poor start and scored 149 runs. This was the highest score in the final match in the history of WPL. Chasing this score, the Delhi team could only score 141 runs and lost the final match for the third consecutive time. This season, many batsmen performed brilliantly and scored a lot of runs. The biggest contribution in making Mumbai the champion was England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt, who scored the most 523 runs in 10 matches at an average of 65.37. She became the first batsman to score 500 or more runs in a season of WPL.

Just like the Orange Cap is given to the batsman who scores the most runs, similarly the bowler who takes the most wickets in the tournament is the contender for the Purple Cap. New Zealand's 24-year-old all-rounder Amelia Kerr won the Purple Cap by leaving her teammate Healy Matthews behind.
Amelia Kerr was the highest wicket-taker in this tournament. She took 18 wickets at an economy rate of 7.75. Meanwhile, Mumbai's Healy finished second by taking 18 wickets at an economy rate of 8.22.
