Manav Suthar is a talented left-arm orthodox spinner and a useful lower-order all-rounder. Representing Rajasthan in domestic cricket, Manav was born on August 3, 2002, in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

  • Ranji Trophy Brilliance: He emerged as Rajasthan's most successful bowler in the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy, claiming 39 wickets in just six matches.
  • Duleep Trophy '7-Wicket Haul': Playing for India 'C' in the Duleep Trophy, he took seven wickets in a single innings against India 'D', a feat that thrust him into the national spotlight.
  • Century Knock: In a match against Himachal Pradesh in January 2026, he proved his potential as a genuine all-rounder by delivering a magnificent century (120 runs) in addition to his bowling heroics.

Manav Suthar was first bought by the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL 2023 auction at his base price of ₹20 lakh. Although he did not get many opportunities initially, he honed his skills by spending time in the nets with experienced players.

  • IPL Debut: He made his IPL debut on May 4, 2024, against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
  • IPL 2026 Season: In the 2025 mega auction, Gujarat Titans re-signed him for ₹30 lakh. During the IPL 2026 season, he played four matches under Shubman Gill's captaincy and claimed two wickets; his best performance was 1/19 against RCB.

Manav Suthar's father is Jagdish Kumar Suthar. Having started out playing tennis-ball and leather-ball cricket at the local level, Manav later mastered the art of red-ball bowling a skill that serves him well today by bowling long spells in Chennai's renowned TNCA First Division League.
