1. Lasith Malinga

Malinga is a right arm fast bowler mostly known for his death bowling and his distinctive round-arm action. Malinga had an impressive performance during the 2011 IPL, winning the Purple Cap for taking the most wickets in the competition – 28 from 16 matches. Malinga has played for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Mumbai Indians since 2008. He developed to become their premier bowler in this format and also became the leading bowler in the competition in terms of wickets taken. He took the 100th IPL wicket of his IPL career during the 2013 Indian Premier League in a league stage match against Kings XI Punjab. Malinga then became the first bowler in IPL history to take 100 wickets.

Amit Mishra is an aggressive right-arm leg break bowler and is currently a part of the T20 franchise Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. He has been the bowler with the most hat-tricks in IPL history. For his performances in 2013, he was named in the Cricinfo IPL XI. He played a total of 154 matches in IPL and took 166 wickets. 3. Harbhajan Singh


Harbhajan Singh is a specialist spin bowler and was the captain of the Indian Premier League team Mumbai Indians. Under his captaincy, Mumbai won the 2011 Champions League Twenty20. His performance in IPL speaks for itself. He played a total of 163 matches in his entire IPL career and took 150 wickets. He was also a part of the World Cup winning team of 2011 Cricket World Cup. His prowess with the ball and ability to read pitch conditions make him a worthy bet for all his franchises during his career. He played a total of 165 matches in IPL and took 157 wickets.

During his peak, he was regarded as one of the best death bowlers in T20 cricket. Dwayne Bravo played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League for the first three seasons. He was later bought by the Chennai Super Kings during the 2011 IPL auction. Since then he never looked back. He was one of the most sought-after players in the 2012 IPL playing for Chennai Super Kings, scoring 461 runs at an average of 57 with a strike rate of 178.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an Indian international cricketer and is a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. Bhuvi is regarded as one of the best Indian bowlers who is capable of swinging the bowling both ways. He got an Indian Premier League (IPL) contract from Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, his glory days in IPL began when he was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014. He is a part of the Sunrisers team that won the 2016 Indian Premier League. 8. Sunil Narine


Sunil Narine is one of the top spinners in world cricket. He has been a part of different (T20) franchise leagues around the world and has played a total of more than 300 T20 matches. As of 2021, he currently plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the 2018 Indian Premier League, he became the Most Valuable Player in the league. He has received two MVP awards since his debut season in the 2012 Indian Premier League.

9. Yuzi Chahal


Yuzvendra Chahal is an Indian cricketer and currently a player of Rajasthan Royals in IPL as a leg break bowler. Chahal was first signed by Mumbai Indians in 2011. His amazing spell of 2 for 9 in 3 overs in the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore helped Mumbai Indians win the title. In the later stages of the game, he was bought by the Royal Challengers and proved his worth for the team with his amazing spells. The wrist spinner has a total of 139 wickets in 114 matches in the IPL. He has always been an important player for Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB). 10. Jasprit Bumrah


Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the Indian cricket team. He is a part of the team in every format of the game. He grabbed the opportunity to play the IPL as a 19-year-old teenager and immediately shot into limelight when he finished with figures of 3/32 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in his IPL debut. Although he played just a few games for Mumbai Indians during Pepsi IPL 2013, he later became one of the bowling assets of his franchise. Jasprit Bumrah played a total of 106 matches and took 130 wickets at an economy of 7.41. He is at number 10 in our list of Top 10 Best Bowlers in IPL History.
