The ODI World Cup is to be played in India only in October-November this year. Rohit Sharma will lead Team India in this tournament.

The Indian team has started preparing for the ODI World Cup to be held at home this year. Team India is currently playing a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. This is the first ODI series of the Indian team this year. Before the ODI World Cup this year, India has to play 12 fixed ODIs (including all three matches of Sri Lanka). Apart from this, there is also the Asia Cup. Not only this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had prepared several plans for the Mission 2023 World Cup in the review meeting held on January 1.
