The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is to be held on Australian soil. Although the T20 World Cup will start from October 16 itself, but the thrill will start on October 22 when the Super-12 matches will start.
England has announced its team for the T20 World Cup starting in October. The command of the team has been handed over to Jos Buttler. The most important thing here is that explosive batsmen like Jason Roy and Alex Hales have not got a place in the team. Jofra Archer has also been kept out of the England team due to not fully recovering.England have included five specialist fast bowlers and two spinners in their 15-man squad for the World Cup. Along with this, two fast bowling all-rounders have also been included in the team.
England has a mixed team with youth and experience which is good and they have good batting with good fast bowlers. If Jos Buttler is in form, then he can give competition to any opposition team. Ben Stokes is also a huge strength of the team.
England has not selected their leading opener Jason Roy in the team for T20 World Cup. Roy continues to flop with the bat. In The Hundred, he scored 51 runs in 6 matches. Three times he could not even open the account. Earlier, he had also failed in the series against South Africa and India. England has selected three reserve players - Tymal Mills, Liam Dawson, and Richard Gleason.
England has a mixed team with youth and experience. The depth of batting and the presence of multi-faceted players make England extremely brutal. The England team has players like Jos Buttler, Alex Hales, Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Ben Stokes. Moreover, the presence of Moeen Ali at number 7 and Chris Woakes at number 8 makes it clear that we cannot keep England out of the game with the bat unless we have taken at least 8 Wickets from them. England can easily beat any teams bowling attack in T20.
