The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) have finally released the schedule for the upcoming Asia Cup. This time the tournament will be organized in 'Hybrid Model'. Asia Cup matches will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. After the Indian team refused to tour Pakistan, the ACC accepted the 'hybrid model' of the PCB. Team India will play its matches in Sri Lanka. She will land against Pakistan on September 2.
ACC President Jay Shah released the schedule by tweeting. He wrote, “I am happy to announce the schedule of the much-awaited Men's ODI Asia Cup 2023, which is a symbol of unity and solidarity that binds different countries together. Let us join in the celebration of the excellence of cricket and cherish the bonds that connect us all.
The first match of Asia Cup 2023 will be played between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan on 30 August. At the same time, the first match on the land of Sri Lanka will be held in Kandy between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on 31 August.
Sri Lanka will host 9 matches which will be held in only 2 stadiums. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium which is in Pallekele City and the other is R.Premadasa Stadium which is in Colombo

The stadium was built for the 2011 Cricket World Cup along with the Hambantota International Cricket Stadium. The first Test match at this stadium was played between Sri Lanka and West Indies from 1 to 5 December 2010. The first One Day International match at this venue was played on 8 March 2011 between New Zealand and Pakistan. In 2012, it hosted 9 matches of the ICC World Twenty20.

R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPS), also known as Khetarama Stadium, Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium or simply Premadasa Stadium) is a cricket stadium on Khetarama Road, Maligawatta, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Prior to June 1994 the stadium was known as the Khetarama Cricket Stadium and is today one of the main venues where the Sri Lankan cricket team plays, having hosted over 100 One Day Internationals.
