Arshdeep Singh was not available for selection during the toss, according to Indias captain Hardik Pandya.
"Arshdeep Singh wasnt available for selection for the 1st T20I against Sri Lanka since he has still not fully recovered from his illness," tweeted the BCCI after the toss.
The very reason why we should have had at least two more left-arm pacers in squad, especially in 20-probables squad for WC 2023. How could a renowned national Selection Committee lack even this basic understanding of variety in all areas of cricket, batting, fast and spin bowling?
