The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the Pakistan team for the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Here you are given the complete team list.
All-rounder Qasim Akram will captain the Pakistan men's cricket team at the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou. The cricket competition to be played in the T20 format in the Asian Games will be held from September 28 to October 7. Keeping in mind the much-awaited ODI World Cup to be held on October 5, Pakistan has selected a young team for the Asiad.
Most of the 15 players named were part of the team that won the ACC Emerging Asia Cup in Sri Lanka last month, while they had earlier toured Zimbabwe for two four-day Tests and six ODIs.
Pakistan men's cricket team for Asian Games 2023; Qasim Akram, who led the Pakistani team for the Asian Games, also led the Pakistan U-19 team last year. In such a situation, once again Akram has a big chance to make his team place in the national team by performing strongly in the Asian Games. Akram has so far played 20 first class, 45 List A and 40 T20 matches in Pakistan's domestic cricket.
