Alamgir Tareen, the owner of PSL team Multan Sultans, committed suicide in his own house. The reason for the suicide is not disclosed.
Alamgir Tareen, owner of Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans, has committed suicide. Alamgir Tareen is the brother of Jahangir Tareen, President of the Ishteqam-e-Pakistan Party. According to Pakistani media reports, Alamgir Tareen committed suicide at home. Alamgir was 63 years old and shot himself. Alamgir lived in Gulberg area of Lahore.
Alamgir has also left a suicide note in which he has written that he was troubled by his illness and that is why he is committing suicide. Let us inform that Alamgir was not married but he was about to marry his fiancee in December.
Multan Sultans owner - Alamgir was the owner of the Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans, whose captain is Mohammad Rizwan. Alamgir was a big businessman of South Punjab of Pakistan. Many water purification plants are set up in their Pakistan. Alamgir was also a big sports lover and that is why he bought a team in the Pakistan Super League.

It was Alamgir who handed over the captaincy of Multan Sultans to Mohammad Rizwan in the year 2020 and the team became the champion.
