India's 'Prince' i.e. Shubman Gill has finally returned to form after 11 months by scoring a Test century. Shubman Gill played an inning of 104 runs facing 147 balls in India's second innings against England. Shubman Gill scored his 10th century in international cricket. After scoring this century, Gill left behind Sehwag, Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh.
Apart from this, Shubman Gill did the feat of scoring a Test century at number three on Indian soil after 7 years. Cheteshwar Pujara scored his last century at number 3 for India on home ground in November 2017 against Sri Lanka in Nagpur.
This was Gill's third century in Test cricket and his first against England. Gill scored his 10th international century at the age of 24. Shubman has left behind Virender Sehwag, Ravi Shastri and Yuvraj Singh in this matter.
In fact, Sehwag, Shastri and Yuvraj Singh had scored 9-9 international centuries at the age of 24. Shubhman Gill has gone one step ahead of him. Sachin is at the forefront of scoring most international centuries at the age of 24. Sachin had scored 30 international centuries by the age of 24. Virat Kohli is present at number two.
IND vs ENG 2nd Test Match: In the second innings, the Indian team was reduced to 255 runs. Rehan Ahmed ended India's innings by dismissing Ashwin. Now England has a target of 399 runs to win the match. Shubman Gill scored the maximum 104 runs for India in this innings. Akshar Patel contributed 45 runs and Ravichandran Ashwin contributed 29 runs. Tom Hartley took four wickets for England. Reham Ahmed got three wickets, James Anderson got two and Shoaib Bashir got one wicket.
