This is the second lowest score defended by a team in T20 against Pakistan. In 2021, Zimbabwe did not allow Pakistan to achieve the target of 119 runs in Harare. Team India is next. Jasprit Bumrah was the hero of India's victory. He took three wickets for 14 runs. Bumrah was named Player of the Match. This is the second time in eight months that Bumrah has won the Player of the Match award against Pakistan in an ICC tournament. Earlier in the 2023 ODI World Cup, Bumrah took two wickets for 19 runs against Pakistan and became the Player of the Match.
