Pat Cummins has created history in the 44th match of T20 World Cup 2024. He took three wickets in three consecutive balls in Australia's match against Bangladesh. Cummins became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in T20 World Cup 2024. Pat Cummins became the fourth Australian player to take a hat-trick in T20 Internationals. Before him, Brett Lee (2007), Ashton Agar (2020) and Nathan Ellis (2021) have achieved this feat. So far 59 hat-tricks have been taken in T20 Internationals. These include players from associate countries and full member countries. At the same time, if we talk about hat-tricks in T20 Internationals by only full member countries, then this has happened 25 times. Sri Lanka holds the record for taking the most hat-tricks in this format. They have done so six times. At the same time, New Zealand is second with five times and Australia is third with four times. Afghanistan, Ireland and Pakistan have done this twice each. At the same time, India, South Africa, West Indies and Zimbabwe have the record of doing so once each.
