Kolkata Knight Riders full squad after IPL 2024 auction, KKR full player List
On Tuesday, the record for the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was made twice in less than a second. Hour. It was Australia's ODI World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins who first broke the bank when Sunrisers Hyderabad spent Rs 20.5 crore, before Kolkata Knight Riders spent Rs 24.75 crore to get back fellow Australian Mitchell Starc. The bank was broken. The left-arm fast bowler was among the 11 players who were signed by KKR.
In 2024, Starc will make his first IPL appearance since 2015, aiming to prepare for the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA in June. This was the second time KKR bought Starc, having signed him for Rs 9.8 crore in 2018 before he missed the season due to a leg injury.
