Mohammed Shami made a different splash in the 2023 ODI World Cup. He became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament by playing just 7 matches. While Adam Zampa was the second highest wicket-taker with 23 wickets in 11 matches, Shami became the highest wicket-taker with 24 wickets in 7 matches. After the ODI World Cup final, Shami has not been able to return to the field yet due to injury. However, now he is going to return to the field.

When will Mohammed Shami return to Team India?: Shami can make a comeback through the Test series against Bangladesh in September. BCCI secretary Jay Shah also said about Shami that he can make a comeback from the home series against Bangladesh.

Let us tell you that Shami suffered a heel injury during the 2023 ODI World Cup itself. After the ODI World Cup, Shami missed the Test series against South Africa in December and England in January. In February, the Indian pacer underwent surgery, due to which he missed the 2024 IPL and T20 World. However, now the discussion about his return is intensifying.
