Indian schedule for Day 11 (6 August) of Paris Olympics 2024

Paris 2024 Olympics: Badminton player Lakshya Sen lost the match after taking the lead for the second consecutive day and also lost the chance to win the bronze medal, while the skeet mixed team of shooter Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka also lost in the bronze medal match, due to which India did not get any medal on Monday in the Paris Olympic Games. The women's table tennis team gave a reason to celebrate by reaching the quarter-finals, while in athletics, Avinash Sable made it to the finals of 3000 meters steeplechase. Despite winning the first game and taking the lead in the second, Lakshya lost in three games against Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia in the bronze medal play-off and missed becoming the first Indian player to win a medal in the men's singles event. Now on Tuesday, i.e. on the 11th day of Paris Olympics, medals will be expected from these players of India.

• Vinesh Phogat (50kg) vs Yui Susaki (Japan), Pre-quarterfinals - 2.30 pm onwards

Hockey

• Men's Semi-finals: India vs Germany - 10.30 pm.

Women's Wrestling

• Indian wrestler Nisha suffered an 8-10 defeat against North Korea's Pak Sol Gum after getting injured in the quarterfinals of the women's 68kg wrestling bout. With about a minute left in the game, Nisha was leading 8-2 but then she suffered an injury to her right hand and taking advantage of this, the North Korean player was able to score eight more points and register a win.
