With an eye on preparations for the Test series and workload management, Shubman Gill and Jasprit Bumrah will not be available for the final two ODIs. Consequently, the BCCI has appointed Shreyas Iyer as captain for the fourth and fifth ODIs, with wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan taking on the role of vice-captain.
