IND Vs AUS final, U19 World Cup 2024: The Under-19 World Cup 2024 season has now entered the final. This tournament is being played under the hosting of South Africa. But India and Australian teams have made it to the final match. This title match will be played in Benoni on Sunday (11 February).
The Indian team had defeated South Africa by 2 wickets in its semi-final match. Whereas the second semi-final was played in Benoni on Sunday (8 February), in which Australia defeated Pakistan by 1 wicket and entered the final.
The Indian team and Australia have clashed twice so far in the Under-19 World Cup final. Both the times the Indian team has won in a resounding fashion. Now there will be a clash between the two teams in the final for the third time.
If the Indian team wins, it will be its hat-trick of wins in the Under-19 World Cup final against Australia. Before this, the Indian team had defeated Australia in the World Cup final in 2012 and 2018. The previous World Cup 2022 title was won by India by defeating England.
The Indian team has won the Under-19 World Cup title a maximum of 5 times so far. Whereas he has lost in the finals thrice. In this way the Indian team has now reached the final for the 9th time. The Indian team has won this World Cup title in 2000, 2008, 2012, 2018 and 2022 seasons.
Whereas on the other hand the Australian team has won the title 3 times. He has won this title in 1998, 2002 and 2010 seasons. He has lost twice in the finals. Both these times the Indian team had defeated the Kangaroos.

In the second semi-final of the Under-19 World Cup, the Australian team defeated Pakistan by 1 wicket. With this, Australia has confirmed its place in the finals. In the group stage, Australia defeated Namibia by four wickets, Zimbabwe by 225 runs and Sri Lanka by 6 wickets. After this the team qualified for the Super-6 round. Australia defeated England by 110 runs in Super-6. There was no result in their match against West Indies. The Australian team is still unbeaten in the current tournament.
