The player list of IPL 2024 auction has been released. BCCI on Monday shared the names of 333 players who will be included in the IPL mini auction to be held on December 19. There are 77 slots vacant among the 10 teams, meaning 77 players out of 333 will be auctioned, of which 30 will be foreigners.
In the World Cup 2023, the base price of a total of 23 players including Australia's top player Travis Head is Rs 2 crore. Out of 333 players, 214 are Indians. Whereas, 199 are foreign i.e. overseas players. Whereas, 2 players are from Associate Nation.
Base price of 23 players Rs 2 crore
The base price of 23 players in the auction is Rs 2 crore, which is the highest. These include 7-7 players from Australia and England, 3-3 players from India and South Africa. At the same time, there are 1 player each from Bangladesh, Afghanistan and New Zealand whose base price is Rs 2 crore.
The base price of Australia's Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Steve Smith, Josh Inglis and Sean Abbott is Rs 2 crore. Harshal Patel, Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav have the highest base prices among Indians. Apart from these, the bidding for 12 players will start at Rs 1.50 crore and that of 13 players will start at Rs 1 crore. The base price of the remaining players is between Rs 20 to 75 lakh.
Gujarat has the most money
Gujarat Titans will have the most money in the auction. Gujarat has a purse of Rs 38.15 crore. Whereas, Lucknow Super Giants has the lowest purse of Rs 13.15 crore. The total purse for all the teams for 77 slots will be Rs 262.95 crore.

KKR has the most slots
Kolkata Knight Riders have the maximum number of slots. KKR can include a total of 12 players in its squad, out of which 4 players can be foreigners. At the same time, defending champion Chennai Super Kings has the least number of slots vacant for 6 players, out of which 3 are for foreign players.
Only 77 players have vacant places in 10 teams
The mini auction will take place on December 19 at 2:30 pm in Dubai city of UAE. The 10 teams participating in the tournament have retained most of their players. Therefore, only a maximum of 77 players can be bought, out of which 30 will be foreigners. The teams have Rs 262.95 crore left, the purse of each team this time will be Rs 100 crore.
