The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held a meeting on Sunday regarding the poor performance in the T20 World Cup and the roadmap for the upcoming tournaments. Many things came out in this meeting. One of them was that the BCCI has shortlisted 20 names who are being considered as the first choice for the ODI World Cup. The National Cricket Academy will jointly monitor the workload management for the IPL franchise. It has been told that these 20 names will be rotated into different series.
BCCI has not yet released the names of these 20 shortlisted players, but an official announcement regarding this can be made soon by the board. By the way, the question is arising in the minds of the Indian fans which are the 20 players who have been shortlisted by the BCCI. Lets know who are the 20 possible players who will win the World Cup for India. By the way, commentator and cricket expert Harsha Bhogle has also shortlisted 20 players.
BCCI shortlists 20 players for ODI World Cup 2023, Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar are sure to be in these 20 players. Rohit Sharma will have the responsibility of doing well in captaincy as well as batting. At the same time, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer had shown a great game in limited-overs cricket last year which they would like to continue. Suryakumar Yadav will also be expected to perform like T20 cricket. Along with this, opener Shubman Gill is also expected to be in this list.
Talking about all-rounders, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Akshar Patel should naturally be in these 20 players. Ravindra Jadeja is currently out of the team due to injury, but he appeared on the field in the coming days. Apart from this, Washington Sundar is also likely to find a place in this list.

Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal can be included in spin bowlers. Since the World Cup is to be held on Indian soil, the Kulcha (Kuldeep-Chahal) combination can be very effective. The Indian team management would like to give game time to both the players from now on.
Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur can get a place in the fast bowling unit. Bumrah is currently out of the team due to injury but he is expected to return to action soon.
Rohit Sharma (captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Akshar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur.
I would imagine this is the core that selectors & team management would work with: Rohit,Rahul,Gill, Virat, Shreyas,Ishan,Rishabh,Sky, Samson,Pandya, Axar,Jadeja, Washington, Kuldeep, Chahal, Bumrah, Shami, Arshdeep, Prasidh, Siraj, Shardul. This is 21. My next 2: Patidar & Umran
