The Indian cricket team is currently busy with the T20 World Cup 2024. Meanwhile, the BCCI has announced the schedule of Team India's next domestic season. Team India will host three teams in the 2024-25 season. During this time, teams from Bangladesh, New Zealand and England will tour India. The Indian team has to play continuous series from September to February.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the home matches for the next season on Thursday. The BCCI told which teams Team India will play against at home in the next season. Currently, Team India is busy in the T20 World Cup. After this, the team will again go on a tour to Zimbabwe. Then Team India will host three teams at home.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will probably not be in the Indian team going on Zimbabwe tour after the T20 World Cup 2024. There are reports of these people being given rest. Captaincy can be given to either Shreyas Iyer or Suryakumar Yadav. But after this, India has to play a Test series in September and Rohit-Virat may return in it.
According to the schedule released by BCCI on Thursday, Bangladesh team will tour India in September. The team will play two Tests and three ODIs. The tour will start with the Test series. The first Test match will be played in Chennai from 19 to 23 September. The second Test match will be played in Kanpur from 27 September to 1 October. After this, there will be a three-match T20 series. The first match will be played in Dharamsala on 6 October, the second match in Delhi on 9 October and the third match in Hyderabad on 12 October.

After Bangladesh, India will host New Zealand. The New Zealand team will play three Test matches on the India tour. The first match will be played in Bengaluru from 16 to 20 October. The second match will be played in Pune from 24 to 28 October, while the third match will be played in Mumbai from 1 November to 5 November.
