As Scorchers batsman Cooper Connolly lofted a ball into the outfield, Daniel Sams and Cameron Bancroft sprinted toward it, colliding heavily in their attempt to catch it. Sams displayed signs of a concussion, including the fencing response, and was stretchered off the field. Meanwhile, Bancroft, despite heavy bleeding from his nose, managed to walk off under his own power.
That's a very nasty collision between daniel sams and cameron bancroft. Bancroft has a bleedy nose but he's walking off the field with the physio. But Sams is being stretchered out. Hope he is fine. #AUSvIND #BBL #BBL14 pic.twitter.com/itgWExXK8f
