During the 50th match of IPL 2025 against Rajasthan Royals, Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton batted brilliantly and made a big opening partnership, which made it to the top 5 opening partnerships of Mumbai Indians ever.

1. Dwayne Smith and Sachin Tendulkar (163* Run) vs RR, Jaipur, 2012

In 2012, Mumbai Indians achieved a record target of 162 runs without losing any wicket. Sachin Tendulkar and Dwayne Smith. Smith scored an unbeaten 87 off 58 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes, while Tendulkar held one end by scoring 58* off 51 balls. 5. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton (116 Run) vs RR, Jaipur, 2025

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag won the toss and decided to bowl first. MI openers Rohit Sharma and Riyan Rickelton gave a great start and shared a 116-run partnership in 12 overs. Rickelton played an aggressive innings of 61 runs (7 fours, 3 sixes) in 38 balls, while Rohit Sharma scored 53 runs (9 fours) in 36 balls. The duo scored 58/0 in the powerplay and then added runs quickly. Rickelton completed his half-century in 29 balls, while Rohit completed his half-century in 31 balls.
