In fact, the T20 World Cup 2024 is hosted by the West Indies and the United States, in which a total of 20 teams will participate. Please tell that this tournament will be played in 3 stages including total knockout. Each teams will be divided into a total of 5 groups of 4-4. The top 2 teams from each group will enter the Super-8 round. After this, all the 8 teams of the Super 8 round will be divided into two groups of 4 each. In the Super 8 stage all the teams of both the groups will play against each other and out of this two top teams will enter the semi-finals.
Two teams out of 4 will make it to the final through two semi-final matches. This means that the next T20 World Cup is going to be very different and there will be no qualifying rounds and no Super 12 stage.
