If one player has the strongest case for being the best female VALORANT player in 2026, it is Natália daiki Vilela. She enters the 2026 Game Changers Championship as the reigning world champion and tournament MVP after leading Team Liquid Brazil to a 3-2 victory over Shopify Rebellion Gold in Seoul in 2025. Riot itself describes daiki as the standout performer of that championship.

But the debate is not one-sided. Ava Florescent Eugene remains one of the most accomplished players in Game Changers history, while Alexis Guarrasi has built a résumé that includes two world titles and another strong 2026 campaign with Shopify Rebellion Gold.

Here is how the leading names stack up as of October 2026.

1. Natália 'daiki' Vilela

Daiki has the strongest current claim because she combines world-championship success, MVP recognition and 2026 consistency.

Team Liquid Brazil defeated Shopify Rebellion 3-2 in the 2025 Game Changers Championship final in Seoul. Daiki was named the tournament MVP, becoming one of the select players to receive a VCT MVP bracelet.

Her 2026 résumé has only strengthened the case. Team Liquid Brazil won the 2026 Game Changers Brazil Kickoff and Stage 1 before finishing runner-up in Stage 2. The team then won the Brazil Finals on September 11, beating Evil Geniuses 3-1.

Daiki has also been with Team Liquid Brazil since January 2022, giving her unusual longevity at the top level. Her current public VLR profile lists $98,151 in career tournament winnings, including $36,000 from the 2025 world championship.

That combination makes her the safest No. 1 pick right now.

2. Ava 'Florescent' Eugene

Florescent's résumé is hard to ignore. She was the Game Changers Championship MVP in both 2023 and 2024, according to Riot's year-end VCT review. In 2024, she received every vote from the MVP panel.

Her 2023 championship performance also produced one of the most memorable individual displays in Game Changers history. In the final against Team Liquid Brazil, Florescent opened the series with 35 kills on Jett on Haven, including an ace to close the map. Shopify eventually won the championship 3-2.

She then made history in 2025 by becoming the first Game Changers player to join a VCT international league, signing with Apeks in EMEA. Riot confirmed the milestone in its 2024 season review.

Florescent returned to competition in 2026 with Azure Dragon Gaming. Her current VLR profile lists the team as her current organisation and records $105,239 in career winnings.

Her 2026 results have not matched daiki's championship-level résumé, but her two MVP-winning world titles keep her firmly in the conversation.

3. Alexis 'alexis' Guarrasi

Alexis has one of the deepest championship résumés in women's VALORANT.

She was part of the Cloud9 White/Version1 championship core before joining Shopify Rebellion Gold, and Riot's 2023 championship recap highlighted her performance in the deciding fifth map against Team Liquid Brazil, where she posted 16 kills and 16 assists on KAY/O. Shopify won that final 3-2.

In 2026, she remains an important part of Shopify Rebellion Gold. The team won the North American Game Changers Stage 2 title on September 17, defeating FlyQuest RED 3-1 in the grand final. Alexis recorded a 1.06 rating on the deciding fourth map, with 26 kills, 21 deaths and 6 assists.

Her current VLR profile lists $166,963 in career tournament winnings, substantially above the other players discussed here.

That longevity and championship experience make her one of the safest elite-level picks even if daiki currently has the strongest individual case.

How Many VALORANT Players Are Women?

This is where the commonly repeated '30-40%' figure needs a major qualification.

Riot has not published a current official global percentage of VALORANT players who are women. The 30-40% figure comes from a 2021 GamesBeat interview in which Riot esports executive Matthew Archambault said approximately 30-40% of VALORANT's players were female.

That statement should not be presented as a 2026 global measurement. There is no publicly available methodology, sample size or updated Riot dataset establishing that the percentage remains 30-40% today.
