The US government had banned Apple Watch
- The government had ordered a ban on some Apple Watches. For this, he was given 60 days time to bring a veto, after which the final decision was taken not to veto.
- The iPhone maker then filed an emergency request with the US Court of Appeals to block the order, which infringed Musimo's patents.
The US government court gave this decision
- After this request, the court put a stay on the ban, after which ITC now has time till January 10 to respond to Apple's request.
- Apart from this, it has also been decided that the company can resume sales of Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches.
- Why was the ban imposed?
- ITC bans import and sale of Apple Watches with blood oxygen level monitoring. Let us tell you that Apple had introduced a pulse oximeter feature in its smartwatches starting from its Series 6 model in 2020.
