The Night Manager nominated for Emmy Awards
On Thursday, the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced the nominations for the Emmy Awards in New York. Out of the 14 categories included in the list, 'The Night Manager' is the only Indian series that has received a nomination. It has been nominated in the Best Drama Series category.
The Night Manager will compete with the best and most spectacular series in the world. Let us tell you that in this category, along with the Aditya Roy Kapur starrer series, shows like French show Les Gouttes de Dieu (Drops of God), Australia's The Newsreader Season 2 and Argentina's IOC, El Espia Eruptido Season 2 have also been nominated. It would not be wrong to say that the series will have to face tough competition for the Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor has also expressed happiness over the nomination. The actor said that he was confused while signing the role because this character was very complex.
