Revolt Motors has launched the new electric bike RV400 BRZ in the Indian market today (January 24). The company has kept its price at Rs 1.38 lakh. The company has started its booking and buyers can book it by visiting Revolt's official website or dealership. In India, this electric bike will compete with Pure Ecodrift 350, Torque Kratos and Orxa Mantis. The company claims that the bike gives a range of 150 kilometers on a full charge.
The new e-bike is based on the existing model Revolt RV400 and its design is also similar to the same. The Revolt RV400 BRZ is built on a lightweight single cradle frame. It has a muscular fuel tank, one step-up single-piece seat and a pillar grab rail.
The bike has been introduced with 5 color options. This includes Lunar Green, Pacific Blue, Dark Silver, Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The electric bike has a blacked-out underbody like the RV400. This includes the lower fairing and wheels, which gives the bike a sporty look.
The latest bike has features like oval shaped LED projector headlight, LED taillights, DRLs turn single lamp and low battery indicator. The bike also has a combi-braking system, side-stand cut-off engine and a digital instrument cluster, which shows speed, battery level, riding mode and temperature.
The bike has fully adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear with upside-down (USD) forks up-front for comfort riding. At the same time, for braking, disc brakes are available in the front and rear wheels. The e-bike runs on 17 inch wheels.
For performance, Revolt RV400 has a 3 kW mid-drive motor, which generates power of 4bhp and peak torque of 170nm. The bike has 3 riding modes Eco, Normal and Sport. Its top speed is 45kmph in eco mode, 65kmph in normal mode and 85kmph in sport mode.
To power the motor, it is connected to a 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery. On full charge, the bike gets ARAI certified range of 150 km in Eco mode, 100 km in Normal mode and 80 km in Sport mode.
The company says that the battery can be charged from 0 to 75% in 3 hours, while it takes 4.5 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The bike also has a regenerative braking system, which helps in increasing the range by capturing energy during slowdown.
The company says that the electric bike is equipped with Artificial Intelligence technology. It has many smart features like remote smart support, real time information, geo fencing, OTA update support, bike locator etc.
Apart from this, the rider has also been given the option to select the sound of the bike. Revolt has given 4 sound options with the bike. These sounds can be selected from the company's MyRevolt application. At the same time, the rider will also get the option of mute.
