The first electric SUV from Mahindra will be the electric version of the XUV700. It will be called XUV.e8. Its length, width and height will be 4740 mm, 1900 mm and 1760 mm. The wheelbase of the EV is going to be 2762 mm. All the new vehicles will be based on the new INGLO platform. It is a scalable platform that can support vehicles ranging from 4.3 meters to 5 metres.
Mahindra and Mahindra recently updated the XUV400 with a new EL Pro version. Apart from this, the domestic car manufacturer is already working on many new electric vehicles. The BE.05 will be a coupe SUV and will come under Mahindra's new BE brand. The BE.05 will have a length of 4,370 mm, width of 1,900 mm and a height of 1,635 mm. The wheelbase will be 2,775 mm.
The flagship electric SUV based on the XUV nameplate will be the XUV.e9, which will also be a coupe SUV. Its length will be 4,790 mm, width will be 1,905 mm and height will be 1,690 mm. The wheelbase will be 2,775 mm, similar to the BE.05.
All the new vehicles will be based on the new INGLO platform. It is a scalable platform, which can support vehicles 4.3 meters to 5 meters long. Mahindra has placed the wheels at the corners, while the battery pack is housed in the floorboard. The floor will be flat, which means three people will be able to travel comfortably sitting on the rear bench.
